UGA Apartments at The Stables

UGA-Tifton maintains an agreement with The Stables, an apartment complex located on Carpenter Rd. and within easy walking distance of our campus, for three apartments which house UGA graduate students, interns, and visiting scientists.  Two apartments are reserved for males and the third apartment is reserved for females.  

Each apartment contains four bedrooms each with its own bathroom and closet.  The bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, mattress, and study table with chair.  The common-use living room is furnished with a sofa, armchair, and coffee table.  The kitchen is equipped with silverware, and some dishes and pots and pans.  There is washroom with a washing machine and a clothes dryer. You must supply your own bedsheets, blankets, and towels.

Below are the requirements for staying in these apartments:

• Complete the application at the link below and pay a $40 application fee
• U.S. citizens must pass background check
• Sign lease for duration of expected stay
• For stays three months or longer, monthly rent is $625/bedroom and includes all utilities and internet
• For stays shorter than three months, monthly rent is $695/bedroom and includes all utilities and internet
• One occupant per bedroom
• Students/interns/visiting scientists are responsible for the monthly rent which is due at the first of each month
• $50 cleaning deposit is required upon check-in

The Stables does not accept credit card payments for the application fee. If you are an international student without access to a U.S. bank check, please arrange for your UGA advisor to drop off a check for the $40 application fee.
